Apartments
Botanic Avenue, Belfast
The site for this scheme is within a designated Conservation Area of South Belfast and the project involved the demolition of sub-standard apartment units and the construction of new Social Housing apartments for general needs accommodation. As an infill site the design had to harmonise with its immediate context in terms of mass, scale and height whilst retaining the character of the surrounding area including specialist brick detailing. The building provided 12 apartments in a 4 storey block all to comply with strict Planning conditions and Social Housing design criteria.
